I feel as though I am having twins. Just a short while ago, September 10th, we brought ‘Shimmers of Stardust’ into the world. I have been incredibly and joyfully busy and blessed since its arrival. And now I am preparing to do it all over again.
November 26th is the expected release date of my next Soul Mate Publishing baby, named ‘When Clouds Gather’
This is the story of Darby Adams and Sam Golden. It’s both a love that can’t hope to win story and a mysterious who-is-the-killer story.
Blurb:
Darby Adams has a successful Bed & Breakfast Inn, The Brass Lamplighter, until a guest is found stabbed to death in one of her rooms. The police and citizens of Driftwood Shores soon make Darby the number one suspect. The surviving family members of the murdered guest want answers–and Darby’s prosecution, so they hire Private Investigator Sam Golden to implicate her.
With all the strange things happening around the B & B, and her world rapidly spinning out of control, Darby desperately needs a friend. Sam begins his new case in the dual role as a sympathetic ally, while still investigating for the needed evidence.
As mysteries and mayhem abound, Darby leans on Sam to survive each calamity. Until feelings start developing between them. Their teen-age kids bring them together for shared activities, creating the feeling of a family weathering the storm. Until the fateful day arrives when Sam has to tell her the truth. Until someone kidnaps their children.
Reeling from Sam’s confession, Darby knows she must trust him to get their kids back safely. But can she ever trust him with her heart again?
Coming live November 26th, from Soul Mate Publishing, on Amazon.com—- WHEN CLOUDS GATHER……
