Today’s theme is supposed to be finger food but I thought this was something different to share. Not exactly edible, it sets a festive mood while your family and guests are enjoying the wonderful finger food recipes provided by the other great Soul Mate authors participating in our Twelve Days of Christmas blog hop.
Ingredients: 1/2 lg. orange peel, chopped 1/2 lg. lemon peel, chopped & 1 lg. cinnamon stick, broken into bits, 6 whole cloves and 2 lg. bay leaves.
Directions: Mix all ingredients together. Wrap in brightly colored square of cloth or tiny tin. To USE: simmer mixture in 2 Cups water to create a spicy scent all through the house.
